Aloha Friday from the far end of Baldwin Beach, Paia Maui
See the hint of a rainbow over the ocean, out towards Haiku? That's why we drove into Paia for lunch, and to get a little sunshine the other day.
This end of Baldwin Beach is closer to Spreckelsville, and it's great for little kids to swim inside the protected area. It's not so easy to find the first time, but worth it. There were kitesurfers off to the left catching the light breeze.
At this time of year, we could all enjoy a day at the beach on Maui, with some soft sand between the toes, and the smell of salt in the air. No wonder Paia is a beach town where everybody wants to own a home.
