Spring 2023 will be a great time to find a new home in the Greater Charlotte area and lock in your housing costs for years to come. Waiting to buy can only cost you more the longer you wait, especially in terms of lost opportunity for equity growth. And there are other reasons to buy a home sooner rather than later: You escape the cycle of rising rents when you buy a home. Over the past several decades, the median price of rent has risen consistently and shows no sign (32 comments)

Sellers will get top dollar as buyers will struggle with affordability. This appears to be the primary message for the 2021 housing market... at least through the summer housing market in 2021. Of course, it's not very different from what we experienced throughout the second half of 2020.
Experts predict that the housing market's spring and summer seasons will be strong and possibly level off somewhat in the fall and winter of 2021. Home prices will continue to set records as inventory remains tight.
Throughout 2020, buyers were able to offset increasing home prices with historically low interest rates, which hit new (30 comments)

Indian Land, SC Housing Market Report: February 2019
Indian Land, SC housing market (29707 zip code) update for February 2019. The Indian Land housing market remains a seller’s market with just 2.4 months supply of inventory. Although the average sale price of Indian Land homes dropped a bit in February 2019, it shouldn’t be assumed Indian Land homes are losing value. It had more to do with the price mix of homes sold. New construction homes sold at about $75,000 more on average than resale homes. Days on market were also lower in February 2019 compared with February 2018. The drop in closed and (14 comments)

Overall, I can't argue with any of the 5 primary predictions for the 2019 housing market that: Inventory of homes will increase, even if not by a lot. Interest rates will increase, also if not by a (26 comments)
