being a professional in the industry: THOSE Who SCREAM the LOUDEST are LOSERS. - 02/01/23 09:56 AM
THOSE Who SCREAM the LOUDEST are LOSERS.

Used to be that raising the voice was warranted when very dangerous situations occurred outside the scope of control, like falling through thin ice or getting too close to a live wire or warning a child of a hot stove top.

Now, it is used as a tool by many adults to be heard above all else, perhaps because they are not getting the desired control. Their tantrums are often, in-your-face, explosive, increasingly angry, and threatening tirades.

My advice:
Ignore if possible. My grandfather always said, "Ignore a barking dog, it will go away." Usually, back then, it … (43 comments)

Being Unprepared is Like Swimming Without Water

Showing up without proper planning is a poor work ethic in the making. It's also irresponsible. Consumers depend on professionals every day to help guide them to solid decisions while achieving sales goals.

Enough About Me. Let's Talk About You!

People who possess narcissistic tendencies put themselves first in everything. In my professional opinion, they have no business in an industry where buying and selling consumers are the main focus.

Have grandiose tendencies, holding themselves above everything else, they get in their way and yours, when attempting to accomplish goals.
Are often vindictive, turning and twisting the truth is a reflex. They get on social … (9 comments)

being a professional in the industry: Showing Appreciation to 'The Other Side'. - 06/21/18 08:13 AM
Showing Appreciation to 'The Other Side'.

There's always a different account to a story, another point of view or other side in a sales transaction. Showing appreciation goes much further than lip service, in my opinion and I enjoy going a step beyond.

A drama-free transaction with another agent deserves to be rewarded. So, in an effort to show thanks, I ordered his favorite Veyo Pies, which is Coconut Cream and delivered it to the brokerage office.

I simply could have called (which I also did) but felt it necessary to go a step further. His text message made me smile BIG knowing I hit a sweet spot with the gesture! Let … (10 comments)
