Beware: Land Sharks Can Bite! Upwards of 1000s of attacks occur every year but people are reluctant to come forward because they fear retaliation of getting ambushed again by these cold-blooded creatures. Statistics become skewed because not all incidents are reported. Land Shark: Term refers to scammers, whose only goal, is to separate people from their money. Right now, as it stands, home-improvement scams might just be the #1 in land shark-bites.
