The weather has been optimum for those in the real estate market to display their goods to get them sold. Home sales are on the rise: Single Family Residential Sales increased from 225 in February 2018 to 316 In March 2018. Single Family Residential Sales in Washington County only. Single Family Residential Home Listings increased from 1278 in February to 1336 in March.

Currently, there are 1,193 Residential Listings in Washington County, Utah (no lots or outside areas). Sales went from 433 for the month of May to 367 in June, decrease in sales for a total of 66 properties.
The St. George area is preparing for the Annual 4th of July Parade on Saturday, the 2nd of July, 2016 to celebrate America's independence. Please remember to give thanks to those who gave their all for our freedoms.

Becoming a member of The Dixie Sunshiners has become one of the highlights of my working career. Meeting and greeting business people from all over Washington County, Utah allowed me to gain long-lasting relationships and also enhanced my Sphere of Influence.
Since then, I have gone emeritus from actively participating in the weekly events as an Ambassador to the St. George area. Imagine my surprise when a former Sunshiner called to ask if I wanted to sell his brother's house. I will be meeting for that listing appointment this morning!

There is a clear difference between motivated and desperate!
Recently, after listing their home, my clients decided to drop the price and then again a week later, after no offers. I got a call and the agent on the line asked if my sellers just wanted to dump the property.
No, I explained, they are motivated, not desperate.
Shortly after that second price drop, I received an offer from an investor at more than $100,000 less than list price. No counter necessary, it was as high as he would go. My clients quickly rejected the offer.
They are motivated not desperate.
