A while back I wrote a post Called "Is Realtor.com A Ripoff?"  The post was about how I was suspicious about the relationship between the National Association of Realtors and Move, Inc. (the company that operates Realtor.com).  Well, over the weekend I read a post that "announced" that the chief economist at NAR had accepted a position with Move, Inc. and I wanted to know, does this bother anybody else but me?

I'm about to pull my hair out!  As I sit here at my desk working on my web page, answering emails and doing my blogging (all things that I try to get done before my day gets started in earnest) my phone rings and it's my daughter.  It's cold in Columbus and she doesn't feel like going to class.  She will, she just wanted to complain to someone and she knew that I would answer my phone!

To those of you who missed my rant about Realtor.com and aren't interested enough to click on this link and go read it http://activerain.com/blogsview/69009/Is-Realtor-com-A, I posted an article the other day about my experience visiting Realtor.com.  As I pointed out in that post, I was EXTREMELY disappointed in what I found out.  What I found out basically being that the National Association of Realtors had farmed out our "official" website to a company called Move, Inc..  Who in turn was charging an arm and a leg to Realtors to utilize the website for anything other than the most … (0 comments)

Lately I've been working on my website to try and get it search engine optimized and on that note, a special thanks to Karen George, the Arizona Mortgage Lady.  She's gone out of her way to provide some very valuable insight into how the search engines work and the importance of content and having your site properly structured in order to appear relevant to the most popular search terms.
