TBWS INTERVIEWS DAVID STEVENS AT NAMB CONFERENCE: An Interesting Poll

By
Mortgage and Lending with Los Angeles & Ventura Counties in CA

I subscribe to the daily webcasts of Think Big, Work Small (TBWS), which is hosted by these two guys, Brian Stevens & Frank Garay.  TBWS was founded a couple of years ago by a bunch of real estate and mortgage people who wanted to teach others in the business how to work smarter to grow their business.

Today's video was especially interesting because Frand and Brian have been taping in Washing D.C. this week attending the NAMB conference.  While there, they interviewed David Stevens of FHA and they provided some interesting details to their discussion with David.  However, I was more interested in the poll that was on the TBWS website today that posed the question to their viewers:

Do you trust FHA Commissioner David Stevens and his policies?

A whopping 71% said "NO".  OUCH!!!

Anyway, here is today's video and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.  I want to also suggest checking out some of their more recent ones too as well as their blog threads.  Very interesting discussions going on.

You know David Stevens started blogging on ActiveRain in January and then poof, his posts were gone?!  I wonder two things... 1. If it was every really him? and 2.  Why the blogs were removed?

Tammy - 1) that probably wasn't Stevens who signed up and posted ($20 says it was one of his gazillion minions) and 2) whoever it was probably got their @$$ chewed out (or fired) when Stevens found what they did.

FYI:  Before seeing the results, I voted no, so the results didn't shock me.

Greg - You're in the majority.  Personally, I think he is anymore trustworthy as any other politician and his policies are no more beneficial to me and my clients than anything else any other politician in D.C. is spewing.  JMHO

Rick - Once again, I do not think David Stevens is anymore trustworthy than any other politician and I have no intention of singing his praises anymore than I would any other person in Washington.  Personally, I'm not impressed with anything any of them has done in resolving the problems with our current economy.  As far as I am concerned, the whole lot of them has only managed to make things worse.  JMHO

I love the name of the company, Think Big Work Small.

I think there's a huge backlash right now against anyone connected with the government. The same people who think the government is too involved are the same people who would have wanted to know why the government didn't get involved if the economy had been allowed to continue to deteriorate.

Russel - I'm so disappointed and a little disillusioned at what the government is doing right now.  I can't even begin to speak about how I feel about what's going on.  On that note, I pretty much keep my opinions to myself - most of the time.

Thx for the invite.  I'll check it out.  Thx for stopping by Russel; I really appreciate it,
