Dogwoods...
Every year, just after Redbud Winter, the Dogwoods come out to play. Lifting arms, heavily laden with pure white blossoms, they gaze towards the heavens, as they grace the morning sky. They beckon to take their picture in the soft, pure shades of the early morning Tennessee light. They smile for me as I snap away, totally lost in their awe and beauty.

Amazing photo Michael. I don't even have on my reading glasses and I can see all the detail in to waxy petals!
You have a way with words Michael as well as your awesome talent in photography.
They are indeed smiling at you...as everyone who reads this will be.

Hi Michael - Absolutely stunning. Your way with words is only exceeded by your talent with the camera.
Michael, I'm still posting pictures of snow covered hills, I hope your flower shot brings on the May blooms here.
Michael, I love dogwood blossoms. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful picture with us.
Don't you just love a Dogwood tree? All types, I love them! Thanks for the beautiful photo, ours are not out yet...

Michael,
I love dogwoods, a favorite tree. But they will not be out around here for some time.
This was the first year that I got close up and personal with the dogwoods. AWESOME! Love your photo!! Thanks!
I love this time of year. First the redbuds then the dogwoods...nothing could be finer.
