Cincinnati's Summerfair June 3, 4 & 5, 2011: Fine Arts and Crafts At Their Best!
It's that time of year again! SUMMERFAIR!!! Now in it's 44th year and being held at Coney Island this weekend, this is THE Cincinnati area's premier event for arts and crafts.
Craftsmen doesn't even BEGIN to do these artists justice! Truly some of the best in the business gather for this annual event. Artists from across the country AND Canada journey to Cincinnati for this three day event. Whether you love woodworking, metalwork, painting, photography, ceramics, jewelry, you name the category, SOMEONE here will have it!
We have a number of Summerfair items we've purchased over the years decorating our home and yard (like the copper flower in the photo!). You can spend a little, or you can spend a lot, just depends on what you love the most!
Mix in some live entertainment and a kid's craft area too!? There's just no reason not to enjoy this event!
Tickets are $10/adult, children 12 and under are free. Hours are 2-8 pm Friday, 10-8 Saturday and 10-5 Sunday. Parking is included. Coney Island is located off Kellogg Avenue just off of I-275 on the Ohio River. Visit www.Summerfair.org for further details.
As always, they'll have commemorative posters available for sale, along with food and drink! Event is held rain or shine! No pets other than registered service dogs! Proceeds help fund various arts related activities throughout the year!
So if you can make the trip, get down to Summerfair this weekend! We guarantee you'll find at least one thing you love!
