One of my closest friends is a quilter extraordinaire. When she started quilting 5 years ago, entering quilt competitions was the furthest thing from her mind … but after much prodding by the ladies at Quilt Essentials, she gave it a go - I’m glad she did! I am inspired by the craftsmanship that goes into each and every one of her projects. But more importantly I'm inspired by the person that she is! "You go, girl!"

Brenda, beautiful quilt! The seller of one of my listings quilts and is very good,. In fact, she has a quilting get-togehter in the Fall at her Bed and Breakfast. The ladies stay over for a weekend and have a blast. As for me...can't hardly sew :)

Hi, Gary! Glad to be back. Trying to get back in the swing of things, I had a busy summer and fall - which I guess is a good thing - but I miss blogging and all you wonderful people here!
Brenda, That is such a great talent! My grandmother was a great quilter, sadly at least in our family, no one picked up the desire to do it!

Brenda-That is an impressive design. My Grandmother and an older Aunt did quilting, but it is a skill that later generations in my family have not kept up. Your examples are really nice.
