Let's Go Shopping for a House!! Homes for sale Tucson

I've started a new advertising campaign to compliment my online social networking.  My goal is to visually cement myself in the local community,  strengthening my brand along with homes for sale Tucson, Marana, and Oro Valley.  

It's a 24 week process, started Thanksgiving week, and includes video, television, YouTube video and listing in the NALA Business Directory as well.  I am the only real estate agent that will be advertising in this branch of Fry's grocery stores, and the next closest store is a good 15 minutes away.

It tweeks my funny bone just a bit - I can't say I'd ever thought I do this sort of visual branding, but I do think that with the first renewal, a mobile QR specific site will be more efficient.

If you happen to visit Fry's and see anyone going through the shopping carts for just the right ones to push - they're probably related to me.  :)

I haven't seen shopping cart ads presented in an effective way before.  I would love to see updates of the advertising campaign as it continues.  The combination of carts and social media could be a hit.

I had used the "shopping cart" advertising about 10 yrs ago.  The results were less than impressive to say the least.  It will be interesting to see how you can make this work using the social media marketing with videos.

Cara, I'll be interested to see if you get any results.  I think this will give you more name recognition, but maybe not the calls your hoping it will generate?  Anyway - I hope you'll keep us updated on the results.

I think you're idea of adding the QR code to this may help as people can take their cell phone and use it - particularly the younger people who know how to do all that.  If your area has a more mature market, it may not be worth any additional cost?  Anyway - I'll be looking forward to hearing of any results.

Hi Rictk - well I'm hoping it adds to name recognition, if nothing else at this point.  Since this is the first campaign like this at this store, in these neighborhoods, I'm hoping that folks will be more apt to notice something new versus having seen signage over and over and no longer focusing on it.

Hi Dan - thanks for sharing your results.  It will be much easier to track with the QR code and capture, but again, working towards that combo of name recognition, online marketing, and THEN traffic stats.

Hi Juli - It doesn't cost anymore than a pay-per-click ad or lead generation system, so I thought the 6 month window was a good trial.  I really think we have to effectively use the QR code and I'm hearing more and more creative ideas towards that end.  They just might be sticking around!  :)

Good Morning Cara- I think this is a great idea from an exposure standpoint. What you are attempting is branding and name recognition. We forget that the most common products or services we use are usually the ones that stand out because of an ad we saw or a branding we liked and it made us decide to try the product or service. Exposure for real estate professionals is what it's all about.

For lenders like me, I don't do any of the social media because it takes up too much of my time. When an agent calls me they want me availble and up to date working on their deals or ready for the next one. If I'm doing all that or driving around "shmoozing" all the time I'm not working on your client. So different for lenders. I'll do a post on that someday.

HI CARA!  You are so on top of things (and balancing that coffee really well in your cart - unlike me who ends up spilling it if I shop and drink!).  Roll on - it looks like you know what you are doing!
