How Lucky Was This Day ~ Wordless Wednesday

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with MoonDancer Realty, Dillsboro,NC NC# 218097

How lucky was this day? Day three working with the nice couple from South Georgia and the forecast was 70 percent chance of rain. Not only did we dodge serious raindrops throughout the day but we also got to see several rainbows in different parts of Haywood County. I sort of felt like a tornado chaser pulling off the highway to get photos. It was worth it…all my life I’ve seen rainbows and never stopped to get photos.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love this area and my work?    Have a lucky day, but don’t forget to create it!

That is awesome! And how fortunate you were to capture what you saw, and focus on the positive rather than the rainy weather. Thanks!

Hi Connie, it was a good day.  The buyers enjoyed the rainbows as much as I did.  I was especially lucky because they were driving and kind enough to take breaks to photo the rainbows.

Thanks Carol, I think from now on...as long as it is safe to pull over, I'm going to photo this beauty.

Hi Marcia, luck only happens if we work for it or if someone is gracious and generous enough to help us do so in the form of paying it forward or sharing fortune.

Who knows David, if I'd been closer to a gas station I just might have!

Mona: Those are all great, but I love the top one, the way the rainbow arcs right over the trees down to the picturesque farm & tractor!  That made my day- Thanks for sharing!  :)

Great photos. Normally rainbows don't come in very clear...at least not for me.

Hello Mona,

I said I would be back.

I love the shots of the Rainbows. Good to hear you are still a busy bee. Very good looking country around there too.

Have a good night in Sylva.

Best, Clint Mckie

Barbara, glad you are finding the inspiration to take a few minutes for the rainbows.  Be sure to post them when you do.

Andrew, glad you liked them.  I'm kind of partial to that John Deere photo too.

Than, I was excited to have the chance to photo these and couldn't believe they showed up.

Sheila, thanks so much.  My attitude did feel good.

Belinda...wonder if I can sell the photo to Big Lots, lol.

Connie Lou, they are some of my favorite colors. Thank you.

Hi Clint,  I'm really fortunate to live here.  Glad to see you.

Hi Mona, These photos of the rainbows are wonderful. I am delighted to have seen them and we should all have some in our photo collection. I like sending them  as greeting cardds for those of my friends when they lose a family member (( 4 legged) and I tell them about the Raiinbow Bridge. When I lost my first little one, the cemetary that handled the arrangments gave it to me and I was moved to tears. If you have never seen it, just Goggle the Rainbow Bridge.

Wow, rainbows everywhere, Mona - gorgeous shots - and a lovely way to make beauty out of a rainstorm.  I love William's idea (#14).

Hi William, I hope to have a whole folder of rainbow photos!  It is a wonderful idea to make a notecard out of the rainbow pictures.  It would be very fitting for the passing of furry friends.  I am familiar with the poem you speak of having sent many a beloved pet over the Rainbow bridge.  It is one of the most moving things I've ever read.

Good Morning Karen, these were highway roadside shots but I would love to catch something like this up on the Blue Ridge Parkway!
