Local businesses are happy to help raise monies for local charities.  Without the support of small businesses, many charities would be lost, today.  Please support local businesses in your community.

This photo is from Sam's Club in Manchester, Ct.  They are participating in the Support Cancer Walk for Breast Cancer Cure & Cancer Research in Hartford, October 21, 2012.  I have included the link to the website of the Cancer Society if you would like to form a company team, or if you would just like to join in and participate.  Bring a friend.  It'll be a good day for a walk in Downtown Hartford!

Frances you are right local small businesses do a lot for their communities, and we should support them in return.

Fran, such a great cause and it does get a lot of support from businesses and the turn-out for the walk is usually a big one.

George, To tell you the truth, I love these walks.  You meet new people and spend valuable time, walking with family and friends.

Ed, I hope they have a good turnout, this year.  We are participating in the Alzheimer's walk in Enfield, this Sunday.  Starts at 10am.  I'm with the Patch.com team!
