Gibbs Gardens is located in Ball Ground Georgia and has only been open for about a year. Jim Gibbs, owner and founder of the gardens has been working for more than 30 years to design and build these gardens, located on 220 acres. The gardens are planted in such a way that there is something new blooming all the time. This weekend it was the daffodils!
There are walking paths throughout the gardens that take you through Japanese gardens, acres of daffodils, up and around the beautiful manor house and more. Not up to the walk? The gardens offer tram tours as well. Ride along the scenic trails in a comfortable tram car.
The gardens are open from 9 till 5. Plan on spending 2-3 hours taking in the beauty of this area. Located at 1998 Gibbs Drive, Ball Ground Ga. just about an hour north of Atlanta, these gardens are worth a visit.
