Hermon Clean Team Hits the Streets - Saturday, August 3, 2013 As part of a community grassroots effort, the Hermon Clean Team will meet on Saturday, August 3, 2013. This small but enthusiastic group meets at Monterey Donut at 8AM in the Monterey Plaza where Fresco Community Market is located. From 8AM until approximately 9:30AM the team will pick up trash, remove old signs from light or telephone pole and make calls for the city to pick up bulky items or have shopping carts returned to their proper home.

This group of Hermon residents and supporters have met every month since the beginning of 2011. Many communities see blight but the Hermon Clean Team takes action. This is an activity that every community and neighborhood can put in place.

So if you are available this weekend to join the Hermon Clean Team and make a difference - they meet at Monterey Donut at the corner of Avenue 60 and Monterey Road at 8AM.

Thanks very much for stopping by and commenting on the Hermon Clean Team First Saturday events. These once monthly events have been held consistently for over two years and is something that could easily be duplicated in communities across the country.
