Google+ Limits the Number of Friend Requests Daily

When I switched from my primary email address on gmail to the new one that Keller Williams set up for us, I started a new Google+ plus account.

My older account has 1,669 friends in my circle but the new one has 88. So I changed the settings and started building my numbers in my 'Circle of Friends".

Google+ Limits the Number of Friend Requests Daily

Yesterday, I got this message box that read "You have exceeded the number of friend request for today. You can come back tomorrow and add more". I tried to do a screen shot of this red/white box but it would disappear when I hit the Preview button.

Please click on the link and add me to your Google+ Circle of Friends.

Kristin,

Google+ circles and catagories of circles and the amount of friends you can request per day should not be limited. Wish that could change too.

Sounds like Face Book; who takes the number of requests that never responded from day one. Then sends a note saying you are befriending people you don't know.

Luckily I knew everyone on my list including my sister!

Hi Sussie,

I didn't know that but I am pretty particular whose friend's request I ask for or who I accept. I had one site that kept posting the grossest pictures of animals being tortured and hurt. I have assisted in rescuing dogs and looking for their owners but I don't think my friends would like those pictures.

Limits are in place to keep spammers from adding thousands of contacts a day. I prefer to only have people I actually know in my feeds (or want to know). I don't need all 4,000 Realtors in Idaho let alone the 1.2 million in the US in my feeds. ;)

I go through all the requests and if they are not Realtors, Lenders, SEO techs, or locals, I do not add them.

Hi David,

The only thing I put on Google+ is my ActiveRain Blog. I put Realtor articles and homes for sale on my FB Realtor Page and on my personal FB page, I never put any personal information on it except for restaurants or stores I am at.
