In my recent experience I have noticed that buyers who are looking for homes in Beverly Hills also ask about the Malibu, CA real estate market. This is very easy to understand since most people who are buying into the 90210 zip code can buy anywhere, so they are also interested in Malibu, CA because of the Pacific Ocean being their back yard is a nice thing to have.
Keeping in mind the greater Los Angeles has more Billionaire than most people realize, so Malibu, Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades the homes are just out of reach for most people. Now with that said let's look at the Malibu Real Estate Market.
As you can see the invetory is not as good as it was in 2014 but not too bad for our current market.
The days on market has increased a bit, part of it is people are on vacation and another aspect is the prices are quite high and the luxury and ultra luxury market has slowed a bit due to what is going on with the politics in this country as well as what is taking place in the world as we speak.
All things considered the prices have droped a bit but no need to be concerned one large sale would skew the numbers higher...
