We have five shelter babies Nina Hollander ...if more could take in even one, we could empty our shelters of all the 4-legged kids that need a home!

Good morning Nina.  If we had the room my wife would have cleared out all the shelters in our area.  Sadly we don't and the two we have are enough.

Lisa Von Domek ~ hi Lisa, all of our pets for the past several decades also came from shelters... they are the best. I had not heard of this program before (maybe because there wasn't a local shelter to sponsor it until this year), but  I was impressed that last year over 19,000 pets were adopted from 400 shelters. And don't you thinkg we could have more than 400 participating?

Ron and Alexandra Seigel ~ good morning, Alexandra and Ron. This is actually apparently an international event... never heard of it until my favorite local shelter got invovled. Wish more shelters would get involved...it's such a great cause.
