Take What You Read About Feng Shui With A Grain Of Salt

"I read all these terrible things online about feng shui" - Email from Client

This was an email I received this morning from a client who is in the process of renovating their home. For me, this is very alarming because it makes you question the type of information that is being shared.

There are so many articles, TV shows and radio shows that offer Feng Shui information and it could become overwhelming with who is suggesting what. How do you know what is accurate vs not? There is no simple answer to this except, take what you read, hear and see about Feng Shui with a grain of salt

Much of what you encounter through mass media and social media may only focus on a tiny aspect of Feng Shui. Even within those suggestions and tips, the information is narrowed down because there is not enough time to review the deeper insights. Feng Shui articles are suggested to be quick and to the point, which seems to be doing more harm than good.

Of course you will have pro's and con's when practicing Feng Shui (hence the Yin and Yang theory). The difference between FEAR based Feng shui and a non fear based Feng Shui is the array of options in how a challenge could be resolved. This could range from practical matters (furniture arrangement, color selection) to more internal transformations (development of character, self-awareness and confidence).

Learn to be Feng Shui offers you the opportunity to change your perceptive and see the positive possibilities in situations that could seem negative on the surface. During your process of transformation, it's also meant to be FUN! Stop being so serious all the time ;)

I haven't had enough input about Feng Shui to have an opinion either way.

Most people including myself are not experts in Feng Shui . . . . it's an on going process.

Good luck and success.

So true Laura.  With the Internet and social media, there's an overload of information and much of it is inaccurate if not plain false.

Just because something is on the internet or television doesn't necessarily make it so.

When your people meet a professional like yourself, they will come to appreciate the difference between myth & truth.
