Every 3rd Monday of July is Global Hug Your Kids Day! Research has proven that everyone needs a hug. We should hug our kids at least once or twice each and every day. You will find that not only is a hug good for your kids, it's also good for you. So as you may have guessed, the purpose of this day really is that simple... give your kids a hug or two, so they know you love them. Use a hug to let them enjoy the comfort, safety, and security that a hug provides. Your kids are precious, and should never be taken for granted. Express your love with hugs. A hug is a way to say everything is, or will be okay.

This doesn't have to be just for the young kids either, all of our children remain our babies no matter how many years pass. Even if you're not a hugger, use today as an excuse to give them one! And if you area hugger, feel free to do the same! We should always be telling our children how much they matter to us, hugs just do a great way of showing that without having to say the words. Actions often speak much louder to us than words do anyway.
