The Sun River St George 55+ Community real estate market remained strong during the month of May 2018. Available inventory was steady and prices continue to rise. Sales prices rose 4.26% over last May and there were only 2 homes priced under $250,000 for sale. There were 49 homes for sale in SunRiver May 2018, that’s down 5 from the same time last year!

There were 18 homes sold in SunRiver during April 2018-
2 homes sold for between $200,000-$250,000
6 homes sold for between $250,000-$300,000
2 homes sold for between $300,000-$350,000
3 homes sold for between $350,000-$400,000
1 home sold for between $450,000-$500,000
1 home sold for between $500,000-$750,000
For a year over year comparison-
Average Sales Price in May 2017 was $334,502 -in May 2018 it was $348,739. Sales prices increased 4.26% year over year in May.
Given the volume of sales, there was a 2.81 months supply of SunRiver homes for sale in May which is roughly the same as last year at this time.
During the month of May , homes in SunRiver sold for 97.7% of their original listed price!
There were 49 homes for sale in May which is 5 less than the previous year in 2017.
Prices are great, although they are rising. There is a shortage of homes for sale in SunRiver priced under $250,000 and that price range may be diminishing!
Interest rates are still great which makes this a wonderful time to purchase a home in SunRiver St George! It looks like the St George Utah 55+ Communities market remains strong and values continue to rise.
