Looking for free Silicon Valley fun to start the weekend off right?
Enjoy Los Lobos at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's Free Friday Night Bands at the Beach on Friday, June 29, 2018 with two shows, one at 6:30 pm and another at 8:30 pm.
Most famous for “La Bamba”, Los Lobos is known for playing “the soundtrack of the barrio”. The mix of rock, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues with traditional Spanish and Mexican music is distinct and constantly evolving.
Visitors can hear the music playing throughout the Boardwalk, whether riding the Big Dipper roller coaster, eating a corn dog on the boardwalk, dining on the pier or just chilling with toes in the sand on the beach.
To ensure all visitors can enjoy the show, guests are asked to please limit blanket size to 3’ x 5’ feet per person, about the size of a beach towel. Only low-back chairs are allowed. Please allow others space and a good view.
Smoking of any kind is not permitted on the beach or Boardwalk. Alcohol and glass are prohibited on the beach. Recording of concerts is not allowed. Please keep walkways & stairs clear; dancing permitted in front of the stage only.
Every Friday night during the 2018 summer season from June 15th through August 3st, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk sponsors two free shows every Friday night, the first show at 6:30 pm and the second show at 8:30 pm.
