South River City is one of two neighborhoods in the Greater South River City district of Central Austin, Texas. The neighborhood occupies the northern part of the district which sits along the Colorado River. The community is a mix of well developed commercial areas and various residential developments. Similar to its sister neighborhood, the suburb is an ideal home option for students and staff at St. Edwards University.
