Charlotte's 10th Annual Coat Drive
Sponsored by Charlotte Mechanical, Charlotte's 2020 10th Annual Coat Drive is underway and goes through November 13th. This year's goal is to collect 6,000 coats for the Salvation Army.
The 2020 Charlotte Annual Coat Drive concludes on Friday, November 13th with Zip-Up Day at the Dilworth Neighborhood Grille... enjoy free food, music, give-aways, and more.
Zip-Up Day begins at 7:00 AM and ends at 4:00 PM. This year's Zip-Up Day is also offering a contact-free drive-through where you can stay in your car and just pop your trunk to donate.
Where To Donate Coats
Some 50+ donation locations for new and gently-used coats are all over the greater Charlotte metro area. Click here for the full list of donation locations for the Charlotte Coat Drive. Each of the donation locations have clearly marked donation barrels.
If you prefer to make a monetary donation in lieu of a coat, click here to do so. All donations will go toward buying new coats for those in need and will be distributed by the Salvation Army's local programs, including the Center of Hope shelter, Adult Rehabilitation Center, housing programs and Boys & Girls Clubs.
