Wreaths Across America Needs Your Support To Honor America's Fallen Heroes This Christmas Season
Wreaths Across America, along with the Salvation Army's Angel Tree Program, are my two personal, favorite Christmas events to support. This year, Wreaths Across America was initially cancelled by Arlington National Cemetery, a decision reversed by President Trump and the Secretary of the Army, Ryan McCarthy. I couldn't be more delighted.
December 19th is Wreaths Across America Day... you can help ensure that a Christmas remembrance wreath is placed at each fallen veteran's gravesite on December 19th at Arlington National Cemetery and at over 2,000 military gravesites around the country, at sea and abroad. You can help by sponsoring a veteran's wreath at a cemetery near you, by volunteering or by donating to a local fundraising group. Each year, the Wreaths Across America organization lays millions of wreaths at military gravesites.
Please consider making a donation to Wreaths Across America to honor those who paid the ultimate price throughout our history for the freedoms we enjoy to this day. The 2020 theme for Wreaths Across America is: "Be An American Worth Fighting For." Please think about playing your part and support this cause by volunteering and or donating.

Video: What Is Wreaths Across America
If you haven't heard about this wonderful organization, which began 28 years ago with a trailer-load of wreaths, decorated by volunteers and laid at the graves of fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. In 2019, nearly 2.2 million veteran wreaths were placed on headstones at 2,158 participating cemeteries around the country in honor of the service and sacrifices made for our freedoms, with each name said out loud. In 2019, at Arlington National Cemetery alone and in spite of rain and cold, more than 38,000 volunteers placed 254,000 wreaths.
The mission of Wreath Across America is to:
REMEMBER the fallen;
HONOR those who serve;
TEACH our children the value of freedom.
