Looking For the Holiday Lights

By
Real Estate Agent
Finding activities to help inspire the Christmas spirit, may not be quite as easy this year, but they do exist!

Last evening, Baron (my grandkid) and I, decided to take a little drive up to Darvel Court, in nearby Folsom.  The residents of this cul-de-sac, certainly outdid themselves while putting their holiday spirit on display.  I was especially taken by the tall trees, with their vivid blue lights.  Add to it, while we were there, a small parade of classic VW buses and a VW Bug, made way to center court!
For those looking for a safer way to spend holiday time, turn to "The 12 Daves of Christmas" as provided by Dave Bender our local CBS Channel 13 weather guy.  He knows where all the best Xmas displays are. And, you can stay secure in your car and simply drive by most!

Driving around and looking at Christmas lights is an activity we plan to partake in on Christmas Eve.  Though we normally do it when all is silent after 11pm.  With our curfew in place, we should probably get to it earlier.

Hi Myrl,
Look at those two happy faces!

Driving around looking at Christmas light displays is one of my favorite annual traditions.  The local Realtors® Association used to sponsor a contest but they stopped doing that several years ago. The local newspaper does print a list each year now so that's nice.  It came out the other day so I need to schedule a time to go.

Myrl Jeffcoat - I could almost feel your joy with Baron in that photograph and I'm sure he was very happy to be with you taking in the holiday spirit. He sounds like the perfect young man and travel companion. I'm glad you had that time together and I hope 2021 allows for many more gatherings with family and friends.
