It's National Pet Parents Day. On April 24th we recognize all the pet parents who go that extra mile for their fur babies. No doubt that most of us who have pets consider them an integral part of our families and we feel like we are their parents. We have a daughter (grown and a pet parent, herself) who's referred to the dogs and cats in our household as her brothers and sisters because we do treat them like our children. I believe that the bond between pet and parent is unlike any other.
