Don't Miss The 2022 North Dakota State Fair Parade this Saturday!

One of our favorite events in Minot ND is the North Dakota State Fair Parade. The North Dakota State Fair is the largest event in the State of North Dakota, it brings hundreds of thousands of visitors, not just from the area but from all over the USA.

The NDSF Parade starts this Saturday the 23rd at 9:15 AM on the corner of Broadway and Burdick.

The parade usually has 200 to 300 entrants and goes on from 9:15 AM to (approximately) 2:00 PM. Here are a couple of tips:

Come and set up early! We bring lawn chairs, a cooler, and sun umbrellas. If you like candy bring a LARGE bag.

WARNING!!!

EXPECT TO SEE A BOOB OR TWO... NOT THE KIND YOU THINK 😂

I see tempers flair every year when some inconsiderate boob comes late, butts in, stands right in front of you and your kids where you have been waiting for two hours.

Along the same lines the same inconsiderate boob has a common sense wife who is crying because she hates what he is doing and a large domestic argument takes place in front of everyone.

Once again (same boob) drags the kid(s) by the arm to the fore mentioned site in front of you and the kid(s) are screaming in terror.

When I moved to Minot I was surprised that they only had one fair in town all year Grant Schneider BUT they make up for the lack of quantity buy having one HUGE blow-out. 😂 One town I lived in had about 12 parades per summer... that was kind of fun too.

I have stood up to a few when they start threatening their wives and children Nina Hollander, Broker . There is always a strong police presence if anything gets too out of hand.

It does sound like a fun event.  We have our state fair going on right now, but I doubt we will be able to make it there this year.

This week has been in the upper 90's until a front went through lat night Mike Frazier BUT for the Fair they are predicting the mid 80's.
