It's Hard To Be Shocking These Days

I have often said that the reason God did not give me hair is because he knew what I would do with it. I probably would have gone the spiky look and with sky blue for color... it's better that I'm bald.

If you are considering things to do this weekend I'll put bowling out there. We went a few weeks ago and everyone had fun. The lanes were packed but it wasn't the bowling I used to do when I was in a league.

 

First of all it's all under black light. Second, you better like loud music. Third, don't expect any bowling edicate.

I'm sure they have "normal" bowling during leagues and week days but weekends are something else... and we all had a lot of fun with it.

Also, when I was truly a bowler there was somewhat of a proper attire. I will just cut this short and say, not anymore...

Hi Bob- I did have a purple streak at the back of my hair . I had it put in after I was 60! I used to bowl in college so I’m sure I would be amazed at the changes  now. As for bowling etiquette lacking- that lack of concern for others is growing in popularity

It is really rare to see concern for others these days Kathy Streib . Working downtown I see people blocking traffic while their fat assed partner runs into a shop for a "minute" which usually is 20 minutes.

There was absolutely NO etiquette the night we were there Kathy Streib . On both sides of us they would grab their Ball and it was bombs away! I always have had to get just the right footing and concentrate on the lane arrows before I threw. I rolled about 30 points below my average BUT I could see across the alley score boards I was doing better then pretty much anyone else.

The main thing however is EVERYONE, my self included, was having fun. 😃

I am a terrible bowler, but it's always a lot of fun. True story - on our second date my husband and I went bowling and we had a tied score. 72. hahahahahah. Gutters love me.

Good morning, Bob.... I am the world's worst bowler and don't even attempt it any more. As for hair... I am thankful for my silvery locks and that I am not bald.

You said it Nina Hollander, Broker , bald is a bummer. Even though my hair departed some 30 years ago it's still there in my dreams.

Lots of "F" bombs Lise Howe and it was annoying (but I got used to it) that people would walk up to the lane from the floor and it was bombs away without considering the bowler next to them (me) trying to concentrate. As far as dress many ladies (I hope they were female) had skirts so short you could see checks and tops so low I don't know how their boobs stayed in there when they bent over to release the ball... not that I noticed (as I was focused on my wife).
