Yesterday I was at a listing appointment I received from a relocation company. I met the young couple and was immediately drawn to them as they were so warm and engaging. As I walked through their immaculate home, I kept on noticing the beautiful watercolor paintings displayed throughout.
After we finished the business of the listing, I asked about the watercolors and learned that Mrs. Seller was the artist. As we visited, I found out we had a mutual artist friend who commissions her work at my home decor store. Before long, we were in her art studio sifting through her amazing work.
Before I left, I was loaded down with gorgeous watercolor greeting cards to take back to my store to sell. She was now going to feature her work in our store! We were both excited, to say the least!
As you can see from the picture, this is only one sample of her work. Each piece is something from nature and evokes a lovely softness. Many of her cards also include a poem that she wrote that goes with the painting. Each one is so special and unique.
We were besties by the time I left! I said to her, we were meant to meet and this appointment was much more than a listing. No matter where they move, I know that I have met a wonderful, new friend. And isn't that the best thing of all in this business?
I love divine listing appointments. There are blessings to be found in all sorts of ways. I believe this is the best part of what we do in real estate–when we meet amazing people.
