Money Magazine recently cited Brownsburg, (Hendricks County) Indiana as the #7 most affordable growing town in America.  I have lived in other parts of the country and I can say it is easy to see why.  With a median home price of $131,000 and a median income of about $84,500 wrapped up in an area filled with small town charm combined with the convenience of a 20 minute commute from Indianapolis you get the best of both worlds. 

There are many housing developments to choose from, that fit the needs of any family.  From starter homes, to moving up to the custom brick with all the bells and whistles, and everything in between.  Some tout ammenties such as pools and tennis courts, walking trails and ponds.  All are conveniently located to schools, shopping and restaurants.  Brownsburg has Arbuckle Park that has a lovely walking trail, pavillions and ball park. 

If developments aren't your thing there are more rural areas to choose from within minutes from town, and neighboring Pittsboro is another small town choice with convenience to Indy.

Industry is growing here in Brownsburg!  The Industrial Park is home to a number of racing teams, and businesses associated with the racing industry, as well as other warehouses. It is in close proximity to O'Reilly Raceway Park, and a mere 15 minute drive is the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
