Cambridge Lutheran Team #1 wins 13-6 in Dalbo area softball action tonight over Grace Gospel. CLC #1 is now 9-2 and Grace Gospel falls to 7-5. The bats were hot early in this one for Cambridge Lutheran #1 with 6 runs in the top of the first and batting around. Grace Gospel had a solid bottom of the 1st with 4 runs of there own. Tuesday night in Isanti featured two of the top four teams in the league in Church League softball action and Cross Point came out a winner 10 to 8 over Cambridge Lutheran Church Team #1. Cross Point put four runs on the board in the 1st inning and held the lead the rest of the game from there. CLC #1 stay close with 3 in the first and 2 in the third and trailed 6-5 after 3 innings. After a scare in a round 1 victory that bats stayed cold again and the defense let Cambridge Lutheran #1 down as we suffer a 10-7 loss to Grace Bible at Maple Ridge. Now we move into the loser bracket against a tough Calvery Lutheran team with a 3pm game time. I hit good all year and now I am 1-6 in the playoffs. I will need to hit this game and hopefully play a little better defense. All in all it was a hard fought game and Maple Ridge advances to play #3 seed Lewis Lake #2. You are probably going to get a few extra softball posts from me this week since its tournament week. So everyone who really wants access to the stats has access to them I am posting out final regular season stats on my blog.

In a hard fought game Karmel Covenant Team #2 pulls out a 20-18 win in extra innings vs Cambridge Lutheran Team #1. It was a close game most of the way. A Big 5th inning put Cambridge Lutheran up 15-7, but Karmel rallied to tie it in the top of the 6th inning. A sac fly put Cambridge Lutheran up 1 after 6 innings. Tonight was a very exciting game! After losing last week by one run; tonight we got one back by pulling out a 17-16 win versus Grace Gospel. It was a back and forth type of game. They plated 2 runs in the first. We fought back and scored 3 runs in the bottom of the first, 2 runs on my 2nd inside the park Home Run on the year. Both teams then went scoreless in the 2nd. Cambridge Lutheran softball team drops to 5-4 with a Heartbreaking 16-15 lose tonight at home vs Cross Point Team #1. This was a back and forth type of game. Cross Point score 3 in the first to take the lead. We fought back to grab a 7-3 after two innings. They tallied 6 in the 3rd to go up 9-7. Then added 4 more in the 5th to go up 13-7.
