Well we have all heard about bedbugs. YUK! I was recently in New York City, where it is reported the largest infestation of bedbugs. I brought my LED flashlight with me and followed all the precautions to keep my clothes (and self) safe from these critters. Philadelphia, comes in number 2 (I was there right after New York trip!) and Ohio rounds out the top 3.

I had showings in this weather! And I went too. This is in the Mountains in Tennessee, specifically Mountain City. It snowed for two days straight. The roads are covered with a layer of ice, then snow on top of that. You cannot shovel fast enough to have a clear driveway. Crazy! Be safe out there..

We woke up to a blanket of snow again. In the past we blamed the closings of schools on our lack of snow equipment in the area. It's true, we lack the ability to clear the roads to make it safe for the school busses. That is how school closings are determined. Can the buses safely travel the roads.
This is of course the most important variable. Safety.

This is what we woke up to this morning! Snow in Northeast Tennessee.
It is so pretty out there. Several school closings, mostly the counties, due to busses not getting through. Carter, Johnson, Washington, Sullivan and Unicoi. The city schools are on a 2 hour delay. The kids (and parents) love that 2 hour delay! You still get a full day in, but get to sleep in! Enjoy your day!

Joe Public is known to think of a foreclosure as a dump. He also thinks he can get this dump for near to nothing. This is not true. First off, these houses come in all shapes and sizes. I recently closed one for $545,000.00 and it was listed at exactly that. We had several offers come in from $300,000. to $400,000.00 and buyers were getting really upset that the bank would not negotiate. The bank wouldn't even counter.
