According to Ecology Global Network  May 23rd is World Turtle Day!  The American Tortoise Rescue started World Turtle Day in an effort to raise awareness about turtles around the world. Turtles are important to our environment, they have been on the earth for 200 million years in oceans, ponds and on land on every continent except Antarctica.

Pet Food Recall!Yesterday I received an email notice from Pet Value, I was really busy I’m not sure why I even clicked it open. Now, I am glad I did, this is one email list I am glad I am on. I had not heard about the pet food recall. Possible salmonella!?!  Mater, Maisy and Raven are a big part of our family. We love them like crazy and I had no idea their food was recalled.
