"Unlocking the Future" was the theme of the 2008 Dutcher Middle School Promotion Ceremony.
We traveled from Gallatin, Tennessee to Turlock, California to see our oldest grandson graduate from the 8th grade. 
Along with many other proud families we watched as 252 members of the Class of 2008 gathered to join in the excitement of their children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Listening to the speakers whom were mostly the students graduating, I was very happy to see the professional manner in which they spoke and delivered their speaches.

School for this year is coming to an end.  However many parents are trying to make the decision of Private School vs. Public School.
In the Nashville Metropllitan area and surrounding counties we have an abundance of private schools and many of the public schools you can attend that are outside the district lines in which you live.
So how do you as parents discover a school that reflects their values of personal integrity and academic excellence?

During the explosive years of real estate we found that clients wanted bigger and bigger homes with lots and lots of square footage, higher ceilings, multiple floors, two or three living areas, several fireplaces, (gas of course).  Well those homes are still out there and there they are still in great demand.  Don't get me wrong there is a place for them, but with the price of everything today ideas of the ideal home are changing.
A large portion of the general (average) home buying public whether young or old, with the price of everything going up, up, up are making the decision that bigger isn't necessarily … (4 comments)

EDDIY ARNOLD, WAS ONE OF THE GREAT LEGENDS OF COUNTRY MUSIC
His music to many has a timeless appeal, his singing and performing was always appreciated with vigor by the crowds.
Of all the hits he had over his career only one was sung at his memorial in Nashville, Tennessee at the Ryman Auditorium on Wednesday, May 14, 2008.

Have you checked your DNA lately?  No not that kind, your real estate DNA,
 DETERMINATION  -  NEGOTIATION  -  ATTITUDE.
With any market, particullary the kind we are in now we have to sharpen up our DNA.
DETERMINATION  -  AS DEFINED IN THE DICTIONARY:  a firm intention or firmness of purpose
So have you looked at your goals and how you intend to meet them, and if you've looked at your goals, WHAT ELSE HAVE YOU DONE?  If you give or receive a contract, remember your goal is to CLOSE!!!

Do you remember when you were a child how scary it was when you had a baby sitter you didn't know, or went to a new school, had to take the garbage out at night in the dark, or even as an adult when you started a new job, attended a new church, or any function where you did not know anyone, or were put in an unfamiliar situtation, outside of your comfort zone.
