The city of Aurora has announced a free homebuyer seminar to be held on January 12th from 12N to 1:00 p.m. on the 2nd floor Council Chambers at City Hall. City Hall is located at 44 E. Downer Place. Hosted by the Joseph Corporation as part of the City's Neighborhood Stabilization Program this is the first step for potential homeowner's to take advantage of down payment and closing cost assistance being provided as part of the $3 million in federal funds that the city was awarded in 2008 to stabilize neighborhoods.
