In today's economy deciding where to spend your hard earned money has become more important than ever. So when friends told me that a new restaurant had opened in my hometown I was ready to check it out.
My 2nd visit to the Double Yolk Pancake House & Restaurant in Aurora, IL was even better than my original visit. Opened only a couple of months the Double Yolk located on at 1555 Butterfield Road off Farnsworth Avenue is a pleasant surprise in today's franchise heavy restaurant market.

According to a survey done by ReMax of Northern Illinois and written about in the Chicago Sun-Times homes that are near the various Metra train lines are having some upticks in sales. They are selling 57% higher than last year and prices are up 9%! Having lived in Aurora and worked in Chicago's Loop for over 15 years I know commuting from 1st hand experience. My friend and I decided to try out a fairly new restaurant located right off one of the main highways in our area - I-88. Located in a fairly new office complex, City Gate Grille was a very nice surprise.
