Talcott Mountain Music Festival, Music Under the Stars Summer is the time of year when so many towns have concerts on the town greens for the benefit of the people that look for an evening out. Most are free. For 5 nights in Simsbury CT, the summer concert isn't free, but that is more than offset by the special performances that are presented. The Talcott Mountain Music Festival consists of 5 consecutive Friday evenings with music provided by the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. Music And Fireworks a Perfect Fit! The summer venue of the Hartford CT Symphony Orchestra is the Meadows in Simsbury CT. There with a band shell, professional lighting and sound system. The musicians take a summer break and entertain under the stars to 3-4,000 of their closest friends. Officially, it's the Talcott Mountain Music Festival. Picnics on the lawn or dine at a front row table, but the music is the same to all, just perfect.
