Remember to take your business cards, lots of them....
Apparently there are lots of Fall Festivals, Winter Home & Garden Shows, State Fairs, Halloween parties, Fright Houses, and similar events going on throughout the nation.
This is just a friendly reminder, then, to take lots of business cards with you whenever you go to a big event.
Feel free to leave a card on a table here and there, at vendor booths, anywhere and everywhere. Hand your card to the ticket taker with a friendly "And here's my card." You'll never find anyone who will respond, "Sorry. I don't take business cards."
Business cards only cost 1½¢ to 55¢ each, so stock up on them. It's your smallest advertisement, the least expensive, and the one that can provide the highest return on your investment.
Those business cards don't do any good sitting on your desk at home or back in the trunk or glove compartment of the car. I have received numerous Clients and sold my products and services in many industries over the decades by getting rid of business cards at such events.
A good business card book to read for all you readers is "It's In The Cards!" by Misner, Bailly, and Georgivich.
