Understand The Facebook Demographic To Create More Targeted Campaigns

With Facebook trumping Google as the most viewed website in the U.S., it makes sense that all real estate professionals should take advantage of their services.  From building profiles and networking with other people, to developing niche-based Fan Pages to target your local market, Facebook can be a very effective tool in your digital marketing arsenal.  But, to leverage the popular social networking service to your best interest, it’s good to know about the kinds of people you are likely to encounter.
Inside Facebook, which I really consider as the unofficially official Facebook blog, posted a variety of demographical profiles on the types of people that are using Facebook during it’s continuous surges in growth.  While these figures were last updated in January, they still provide some very solid information on what you can expect from people using Facebook.  Have a look at the graphs below to see what I mean.
