Sure we've all heard the phrase this too shall pass, and while that can provide comfort, a better understanding of the flow of life I think is in order. There are mountaintops and valleys we find ourselves in life and the times heading towards the top or towards the bottom. Life literally is a roller coaster. No one, great or small, rich or poor, stays on the mountaintop all the time, nor gets mired in the mud in the bottom. The fact is life is FULL of beginnings and endings for jobs, positions, relationships, phases of our life and even where we live and the homes we live in and the cars we drive. I try to tell people it is ALL GOOD, even the toughest of times, cause it is an experience to feel and learn from. Do we like those wrenching bad times? Heck no.
