St Louis already had their Bar Camp, Does KC have what it takes?
Why no REBCKC? Why have we not done this yet? Is it time for us to hold the first annual Kansas City Real Estate Bar Camp?
You know, the Free ad hoc gathering of Real Estate marketing, social media and tech folks who share new ideas, listen and have fun for a day of sessions and conversations? (See www.rebarcamp.com)
Are these events just for the big high-tech citys? Can we compete with megalopolises like Rye, Raleigh, Charlotte and Columbus? (all have hosted or are hosting a bar camp this year)

I was fortunate enough to be at the first ReBarCamp in San Fransisco 3 years ago, and have been to a dozen since - all while longing for a KC local to step forward and host an event. 
In order to Host a KC Bar Camp:
-We need a location.
-We need some funding.
-We need some volunteers.
-We need to help promote the event at meetings and online.
I'll take the first step, if there is some support and interest.  Can we / Should we do this? Are you interested?
