Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights When: Saturday, Dec. 3, 5:30 p.m. Where: 105 N. Union St., Alexandria Dozens of boats illuminated with Christmas lights cruise the Potomac River and can be viewed from Alexandria’s historic waterfront in this parade, an annual tradition in Alexandria. Holidays in LeesburgWhen: Saturday, Dec. 3, 6 p.m. Where: Historic Downtown Leesburg This annual parade features local bands, floats and, of course, Santa. The parade begins at Ida Lee Drive, travels down King Street through Historic Downtown Leesburg and ends at Fairfax Street.
