YouTube Thursdays - Storyboard - A Blueprint for Quality Videos
 
Think of the storyboard as the blueprint for your video. Without it, it can be quite difficult to tell a compelling and entertaining story. Naturally, you want both. Remember the introductory video is a great opportunity for your authentic self to shine. It's about how YOU bring VALUE to THEM. And while it's about you, it's really not about you! 
 
Therefore, it's important for your story to get that point across - quickly. Otherwise, it's just another version of the "I'm a top producer, I'm so smart, I'm ethical, and I've got a ton of awards," type of dime-a-dozen videos out there. Who cares?  In my experience, a prospective client wants to know what makes you special, and why that's valuable for them.
 
For example, let's assume you sell equestrian properties. Why?  There has to be a reason these type of properties resonate with you so strongly. Let's assume you grew up on a ranch and fell in love with this lifestyle. You get it - inside and out. Your experience and expertise and passion is difficult to duplicate.
