In searching for our contender we came accross Waldo’s BBQ. Clay Caldwell is the founder of Waldo’s. Clay grew up on his family’s hog farm in Snowflake Arizona. In 1992 he picked up a smoker and never looked back. In 1993 he left the family farm to open the 1st Waldo’s BBQ in Mesa.
