The answer to the question posed in line 3 of this blog post is, no it isn't just in Alameda, Oakland or Piedmont Ca. My belief is it's in most areas of the country and very true in Tulare, Fresno and Kings County. It's an everyday occurance in our office to see agents searching for homes for their buyers and knowing that it may take 3 or 4 offers and disappointment to finally be able to find that home. As a Buyer's Agent I always insist that a home inspection be done and include a home warranty to my buyers as my gift to them.
