As promised, here are the remaning list of questions to ask at a new construction site.  Hope these questions help you!

13. Will we be able to see the site plan prior to the start of the home? How deep is the rear yard and what is the minimum distance between homes?

14. What other communities have you built?

15. Is the builder responsible for any proffers and what are they?

16. What are your Lot deposit and Agreement of Sale deposit policies?

17. Do you accept offers and what procedures are in place for making an offer?

18. What is included in the HOA fees? Are all of the streets public?

19. Are the utilities public? Anything unusual?

20. How long is the construction period?

21. Are buyers allowed to visit their home while it’s under construction?

22. Please review the meeting schedule when the buyer meets the staff, etc.

23. Do you permit home inspectors? Is the buyer allowed to be present with the inspector? What happens if he/she finds a defect?

24. I see that you have a lender’s incentive. Are there any other special credits, i.e. towards options currently? Are you anticipating any builder’s events in the near future? When is your next one planned?
