Polonius advice to his son is such a classic statement from Shakespeare's Hamlet and every real estate agent should become familiar with it. It reads “to thine own self be true, and it must follow, as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.” Agents who do not trust any other agent are probably not trustworthy themselves. Imagine how much easier brokering real estate would be if everyone could be honest about what they’re doing and why they’re doing it.
