The fishing is good in Perry County, Alabama. This is a picture of my 3-year-old daughter's first fish this past week. She was eager to touch this little bluegill and is asking when we're going to go fishing again. Perry County, Alabama is home to some great fishing spots. Why buy hunting land in the Black Belt region of West Alabama? Because that is where the big deer and wild turkeys are! This deer is a great example of how big white-tailed deer can grow in our area. This big buck was taken during the late rut in January 2010 by my brother-in-law, Chris Hutlzler, at Foothills down in south Perry County, Alabama.
