Today I am very thankful for heat, eletricity and water.  The weather across metro Atlanta has wreaked havoc on many homeowners and businesses.  Busted pipes and flooded spaces inside and outside of homes and offices are common place for the last couple of days.  And the city's licensed plumbers, insurance adjusters, and emergency responders are absolutely swamped with calls for help.

One of the not so fun but necessary tasks of Property Management are 'clean outs' from previous tenants.  A 'clean out' is simply going into the property after the tenant has moved out and getting it cleaned up and prepared for the next tenant.

I sent all of my tenants an email today to 'thank them' for being good tenants.  Yes we have had some bumps in the road, but I think we have some of the best tenants in metro Atlanta.  What makes these tenants special?  
For one thing they really try to 'own the home' so to speak.  They like to think of there home as their own.  They express pride in ownership when they don't actually own the properties.
